Spirit Painting Session
Spread the word
Feb 15, 2012, 4-6pm
Trafalgar Campus
Room C111
The Spirit Painting is a piece of art that is self reflective. The process of creating a Spirit Painting allows us to relate oneself to nature. It also allows our self to discover what we are connected to or what we want to become more connected to. It is a journey of self discovery and can bring balance to us spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
All materials are provided at this free session. Space is limited.
Contact carol.appleby@sheridanc.on.ca to ensure a spot. We know most of you will be at Peer Mentor training at this time, but please tell your friends about this session.
Volleyball/Sick Kids Fundraiser
One of our student athletes and fellow Peer Mentors, Frank Pento (Team Captain, Men’s
Volleyball) lost his mother to cancer in November. In lieu of flowers
the family asked donations be made to her favorite charity, Sick Kids
Hospital. The Athletic Department has decided to honour “Franca Pento” by hosting
a fund raiser where all proceeds will be given to the Hospital for Sick
Kids. This event will take place Wednesday, February 15th at the Trafalgar Gym
during a double header Volleyball Game; Women’s @ 6 pm and Men’s @ 8
pm. Both Sheridan Bruin Teams will be playing Redeemer.
Tickets will be sold at the games for a variety of gift baskets and
Admittance is $2.00. ALL proceeds from tickets sales and promotional
draws will go directly to Sick Kids.
We ask your support with attendance and/or donations. Donations are
accepted at: http://bit.ly/xiqqKJ
Let’s go that step further and show our students how we truly care!
